All cars racing at the track must have mufflers.

or methanol 4barrell carburetor. (Racing gasoline for a
Late Model can cost nearly $10 per GALLON!!)

These cars are VERY restricted in the amount of horsepower and suspension adjustement. Most parts on these cars come out of a junkyard or off of some old beater sitting out behind a raceshop. This is Hartford's entry level class, but arguably the most FUN to race in!
